Joomla is a one of the most popular open source CMS and i know you all the latest version of Joomla 3 has some great new features. Here in quick article i am going to share one error which i faced when trying to install component into the Joomla 3.

Recently, In one project i want to upgrade joomla extensions with latest version which is Joomla 3.I wanted to use existing component used in joomla 1.5 to latest version Joomla 3 but whenever trying to install that component into joomla 3 getting below error.

Warning :Cannot find Joomla XML Setup file. see in below screen

then I open my main xml file of package and just look into it and get the solution is to need to replace < install > base tag to < extension > tag because < install > base tag is for Joomla 1.5 which is no longer supported or we can say < install > has been deprecated in Joomla 3.
